Light and Darkness (short poems)

I was inspired to write these shorts based on the picture prompt (Photography: courtesy of Creative Commons and Leslie Moon) at http://oneshotpoetry.blogspot.com. My apologies to Haiku fans/experts, I haven't really concerned myself with the 5-7-5 syllables or 2-3-2 beats. I intend to try that out when I can sit at a stretch for an hour without being disturbed. Let me know your feelings on these. Thank you.

1.
flames of dark
lick
the light
a hungry wolf
cleans
the scent of blood

2.
night
trees, black
stars, white
and the air
is blue

3.
dreams
dark
as a slab of meat
and then
light
as pigeon breast feathers

4.
the light
from the cloud
spreads its ink
the glowing eyes of the wild
fade away
